Terms & Conditions
Bookings.
All bookings taken shall be at the discretion of Leanne Lishman Artistry
Bookings are on a first come first serve basis and your date will not be held without deposit and completion of the booking form. Provisional bookings are not permitted.
You must sign your contract which includes your quote as this is services agreed by both parties. Contracts must be signed within 7 days of receiving the contract link, any later and you may risk losing your booking.
Party numbers are final. Party numbers may be added at the discretion of Leanne Lishman Artistry and the quote will be adjusted. Any new arising payments required from adjusted services will be added to the final invoice. If added after final invoice is paid, a new invoice will be issued for the additional services which must be paid by the date detailed on the invoice.
Once the contract is signed detailing the agreed services, party numbers/services removed within the cancellation window will incur the relevant charges detailed under cancellations and postponements section.
Once a bridal package has been chosen and agreed in the contract, bridal packages can not be downgraded but may be upgraded at the discretion of Leanne Lishman Artistry.
Friday & Saturday during May to October inclusive requires a minimum booking of bride + 3 on hair only or makeup only bookings (this does not apply to the luxury package)
A bridal hair and makeup trial/preview is included within the cost, no deductions will be made if you choose to forego this service. It is strongly recommended you attend your trial/preview, as it provides a great opportunity to discuss your style and plan for your wedding day.
Trials are to be taken between 3 and 6 months before your wedding unless otherwise agreed by Leanne Lishman Artistry.
Trials should be booked as soon as possible once your booking is confirmed.
Weekends are reserved for weddings. Trials can only take place on a weekend under certain circumstances with the agreement of Leanne Lishman Artistry.
An assistant/second artist may be required to complete all services in a timely fashion on your wedding day. Assistants/second artists are subject to their availability. If in any case where an assistant has been agreed and the assistant becomes unavailable due to any reason such as illness/pregnancy for example, you will be made aware of the situation, what is achievable without the assistant will be discussed and services may need to be altered. Leanne Lishman Artistry will always try to source another assistant, or you the client are welcome to book another supplier to work alongside Leanne Lishman Artistry.
Travel.
Travel for your wedding is included if it is within a 30 mile or 40 mile radius of Cheltenham, depending on your package.
Travel is charged at .45p per mile and £10 per hour of travel both ways.
Trials.
Trials/previews are to be held at Leanne’s studio in Cheltenham. GL50 3DU.
Trails/previews are up to 2 hours for hair or makeup, and 3.5 hours for hair and makeup (bride only). Details of cost and extra time will be given if another member of the wedding party request a trial. If the time is exceeded this will incur an extra charge of £15 per 15 minutes (£60 per hour). This will be added to your final invoice.
Payment.
A non-refundable deposit of £100 is required to secure your booking.
Bookings can only be made by the bride, wedding planner, or person requiring services. There is a 14-day cooling off period at the time of booking. Cancellations in this period should be made in writing/emailed to Leanne Lishman Artistry.
First payments (25% of final payment after deposit is deducted) are to be made 3 days in advance of your trial/preview. You will receive an invoice detailing your 1st payment 10 days before your trial/preview date.
Your final payment is to be paid 4 weeks before your wedding date/booking. You will receive an invoice detailing your services and final payment 8 weeks before your wedding date/booking.
All invoices are to be paid by the due date detailed on your invoice. Late payments may result in daily interest and compensation charges.
Failure to pay your final payment for wedding day services may result in your booking being cancelled along with interest and compensation charges payable on 100% of the final invoice.
Once your booking is confirmed you will receive a payment schedule for your reference detailed on the booking confirmation.
All payments should be made using the bank details on the invoices received using the reference provided. Please do not use any other reference such as ‘wedding’ as this will make your payment difficult to track and delay confirmation of your payment. The reference provided to you is unique to you and should be used on all transactions.
We do not accept cash payments.
Cancellations and postponements.
In the unfortunate event that you have to cancel your booking or services with Leanne Lishman Artistry, any monies paid will not be refunded.
Cancellations must be made in writing/email.
Cancellations of any service made more than 6 months before your wedding date will not incur any extra charges.
The following charges will apply to those cancelling any service within the 6-month period.
26 weeks/6 months = 30% of final payment
16 weeks/4 months = 50% of final payment
8 weeks/2 months = 100% of final payment
If you are to postpone your wedding, any monies paid including booking deposit will not be refunded but services and booking deposit will be transferred to your new wedding date at no extra cost for the first postponement if available. Any further postponements will incur a £10 admin fee. Multiple dates can only be secured with additional deposits. Postponed dates are subject to availability.
If your wedding is postponed and a new date is arranged all payment scheduling will be moved accordingly to be in line with your new date.
In the unlikely event of lateness (for example, due to accidents on roads/road closures/extreme weather conditions or flooding) over 1 hour to the agreed start time on the day of your wedding, as many services as possible will be completed and prioritised. Any services not complete will be refunded.
If your services are cancelled by Leanne Lishman Artistry for any reason, we will try to source another artist to step in. Options will be presented to you, the booking may be passed to another artist with your consent, or you may need to make a new booking with another artist, in which case you will be refunded.
Please note these are worst case scenarios Leanne Lishman Artistry will always do their very best to arrive on time.
Leanne Lishman Artistry reserves the right to cancel your booking or not continue with services due to unreasonable, rude, abusive or aggressive behaviour. In these circumstances no refund for any monies paid will be given and you be required to pay a penalty fee of up to 100% of your outstanding balance if not already paid.
Leanne Lishman Artistry reserves the right to cancel your booking if there is a significant failure to respond to communications/correspondence. (For example, no longer replying to emails that require a response). There will be a fair warning in an email before a final email detailing the cancellation. In these circumstances no refund for any monies paid will be given and you be required to pay a penalty fee of up to 100% of your outstanding balance.
Please note that this does not apply to those that occasionally forget to reply or are occasionally late with replying, we understand that life in general along with planning a wedding can get quite busy, so don’t panic!
Leanne Lishman Artistry reserves the right to cancel your booking for any situation deemed reasonable, if this is the case you will receive a full refund of any monies paid, unless the cancellation is a result of the client’s failure to pay, rude or abusive behaviour or failure to respond, the terms previously set out regarding these issues will apply.
Correspondence.
All Correspondence with Leanne Lishman Artistry will be either via email or written letter/text. Anything discussed by phone call will be emailed to you to confirm conversation.
It is the responsibility of the bride or person making the booking to inform Leanne Lishman Artistry of any allergies or skin sensitivities that yourself or the bridal party may have prior to the service. For your safety we advise you also inform your artist at the time of service.
Leanne Lishman Artistry cannot be held liable for any losses or damage that has incurred due to the client’s failure to disclose any information regarding known allergies or sensitivities, nor can they be held responsible for any unknown allergies or sensitivities that may arise.
If you or any member of the bridal party have any allergies or sensitivities and wish to proceed with services a trial is highly recommended at the discretion of Leanne Lishman Artistry, the client is responsible for themselves, and Leanne Lishman Artistry cannot be held responsible for any allergies or sensitivities that occur. We reserve the right to not carry out a service if deemed dangerous. (e.g., client with anaphylaxis reaction).
You must inform Leanne Lishman Artistry of any contagious conditions or infections. We reserve the right to not carry out any service if deemed dangerous to the client or artist.
It is the responsibility of the bride to ensure all bridal party members are available on the wedding day and are at their pre-arranged time slot on the schedule. No refund or compensation will be offered for delays caused by other wedding vendors/suppliers, guests or members of the bridal party.
Photography.
Any photos or video taken by Leanne Lishman Artistry or supplied to us by yourself, or other sources may be used within our website, social media pages and for advertising purposes or for any other related business owned by Leanne Lishman.
Any photos or video taken by assistants/second artists working on behalf of Leanne Lishman Artistry or supplied to them by yourself or other sources may be used within their own website, social media pages or advertising purposes.
If you request no photos or videos to be used in any way stated above before or after your wedding day/event, please make your objections via email stating your name and wedding date. hello@leannelishmanartistry.com

Leanne Lishman Artistry take your privacy very seriously and are fully GDPR compliant. All information regarding how your information is stored, handled and the reasons why it is taken is available for you in the privacy policy.
